    BESAN is also called GRAM FLOUR
    It is made from Skinless Split Brown Chickpeas (also called Chana Dal).
    It is usually confused with Garbanzo Flour which is made from White Chickpeas.
    Both of these flours are NOT the same.
    Besan is much finer, smoother and more compact.
    White Chickpea flour is a lighter, coarse, and more fluffy.
    Besan is used in making various sweet (Laddu, Burfi) and savory snacks like Vegetable Pakora (fritters).
